In a cosy vintage-inspired space just past the DISTRACTED Art Shop, the delightfully unassuming Connie Burt removes unwanteds with a deft hand and lightning speed.

Originally from the East coast, she moved to Perth with her family in 1996. Though qualified as a hairdresser, Connie put down the dryer on completion of her apprenticeship deciding she preferred to pull hair out rather than cut it.

A specialist waxer, she has been twirling the pop-sticks and puffing the talc for a little over four years. Connie is a reassuringly calm professional, and even as you perform impressive contortions and mutter obscenities she makes you feel completely at ease.

Affectionately dubbed “The Ripper”, Connie offers all the regular waxing services, and her wax pots are hot during the same trading hours as DISTRACTED.
